COVINGTON, KY- Holmes High School senior, James Bolden, has signed his national letter of intent last week, during the NCAA early decision period.
After making visits to all five of his final schools, a list that also included Xavier, Purdue, Ohio and Butler, Bolden had made his decision.
Bolden, 6-foot-10/Pt. Guard, signed with West Virginia University to continue his academic career, and athletic career playing men’s basketball.
James has been rated a three-star recruit by all the major scouting services. He helped lead Holmes to the Kentucky state championship in his sophomore year and during his junior year he averaged 20.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game. They were the state runner-ups while losing to Covington Catholic.
